The Quality Certificate is issued following the SEMEN ANALYSIS (or spermiogram), which involves the evaluation of the physical-chemical and biological parameters of the ejaculate
After the collection of the seminal fluid, the sample undergoes specific laboratory analyses, including the appearance and volume of the three ejaculate fractions, sperm concentration, motility, vitality, and morphology.
For a more detailed assessment of the gamete characteristics, a FUNCTIONAL SEMEN ANALYSIS can be performed. This provides more in-depth information regarding the integrity of sperm membranes and DNA, as well as their ability to bind to the female gamete.

HOW TO PROCEED
The donor dog will be examined to assess its state of health and the ejaculate collected from the donor (necessarily identified with Microchip) will be analyzed in the laboratory to assess its quality and draw up the certificate.
